DC Motor

هي افضل من ناحية سهولة التحكم في سرعتها مقارنة باساليب التحكم في المحركات الحثية وتعطي مدى واسع

ايضا عزومها العالية خصوصا عند البدء

مقارنة بالمحرك الحثي

اكبر مشكلة هي وجود الكميوتيتور والفرش ..لذلك تحتاج صيانة اكبر وايضا اغلى من ناحية السعر

Induction motor

محرك اقوى ويتحمل العمل في ظروف شاقة

لذلك بالاضافة لانه ارخص وحاجته للصيانة اقل وبسبب اساليب التحكم التي تطورت فهو منتشر .
